The Importance of Mentorship

Saturdays with Roman, Episode 6

We don’t “do” re-takes here at Roman Fitness Systems. One shot, one adorable me.

In this episode of Roman Fitness Systems, I introduce the newest Roman Fitness Systems Intern, Josh Hamilton. Josh wrote an essay that made it through to the final cut, and I explain why he’s been able to get my attention.

He explains his background, how he got here, where he plans to go with his physique and business, how we know each other and who he learns from.

Building off of this, I reveal and acknowledge some of the key mentors that were, and continue to be, a massive impact on my life. What my mentors have done for me, I am trying to do for Josh.

The power of mentorship cannot be understated, and can be the deciding factor in separating yourself from the pack.

Check this out, and meet-up down below.

Now that you’ve met Josh, what do you think? How have mentors impacted you in the areas of your life, and who are they?

What have you learned that wouldn’t be covered by simply going through the motions, or being a “lone wolf”?

Let’s get a solid discussion going in the comments, yo.

I’d personally love to have a mentor, I’ve wanted one for a while and you’ve just reinforced that, although I’m not exactly actively looking… I also look forward to the day when someone would like me as a mentor, that’ll be an awesome day!

This is a FANTASTIC story! I love this.

I have a client just like this – he went on to become a trainer and nutritionist after losing 100 pounds.

      Congrats on your success!
