A few months ago my training lacked direction and I wasn’t really sure where I wanted to take it. While I hadn’t hit a plateau I just generally lacked motivation and wasn’t really training with much passion at all.

Rachel Lost 26lbs of fat While Gaining 6lbs of Muscle - All to be Ready for Her Wedding!

I just wanted to say thanks for the last eight-ten months. It has certainly been a life changing experience, and I know you probably get that all the time, but it’s true. When I think about my achievements over the past year, my health and well-being has certainly been the highlight. Sure, I may have actually done all the hard work, but as you point out, everyone needs a trainer… someone to guide and instruct you, but also to be that voice of accountability in the back of your head. Mark Went From 23% bodyfat to an Astonishing 12% - AND Gained 7lbs of Lean Mass

Got to say I am in great shape now. Like really great shape. Still have some body fat to lose, about 5-8 lbs of fat, but man, I am strong, lean, and fit.

While skiing, I didn’t even need to skate ski on flat areas or cat tracks. I could just use my upper body strength to push myself forward, and I would start going really fast and blow by everyone.

Also, I was not affected at all by a full day of skiing. Worked out hard the next two days as if I hadn’t even gone skiing, and I was in high altitude.

Gotta say, your program rocks. Really rocks. The only downside. I have had to buy all new clothes. None of my pants fit. None. I went from a 36″ or 36″ plus waist to below a 32″ waist. Used to wear size L or XL gym shorts. Now I am wearing M. But having to get new clothes is a good problem to have.

Sam Gained 11lbs of Muscle While Slashing His Bodyfat to 5.3% Not Bad, If You Like Being Jacked, Or Whatever

When I became a model, I went from being an athlete to being a guy who makes clothes look good. To help with this, my agency made me to lose 20 lbs. of muscle mass, which left me feeling weak, soft, and pretty despondent. It was not a good time.

After a year of this, I decided to sign up to Roman’s coaching program. Turned out to be the best thing I could have done: I gained 11 pounds of muscle and dropped fat almost immediately. I went from a somewhat good looking dude but weak as hell to a somewhat good looking dude but strong as hell. I regained all my strength back and then some!

My biggest worry was getting too big to model, but Roman’s programming is unreal. My weight stayed pretty much the same, and I was still able to fit into the clothes and do my job, but I feel better, stronger, and my body fat has dropped to 5.3%! I really can’t say enough about this.

I am continuously getting asked questions outside of the gym about my training and nutrition regimen by strangers, which is the BEST compliment ever. Someone asked me what kind of an athlete I was when I was out the other night and another guy stopped me when I was at work yesterday to have me tell his girlfriend what I did to look the way I do (diet, training).

When I started lifting weights years ago, I really wanted to look like I worked out when I was in my regular “street clothes” and I feel like I have finally gotten there (thank you!). A bunch of the people that I work with make comments about my muscles (all nice) and it is very flattering. One of my girlfriends always has me flex when we are out (only slightly embarrassing) and she keeps one of my progress pictures on her phone as inspiration.

Casey Lost 26lbs of Fat While GAINING 5 Pounds of Muscle

I feel very fortunate to have been accepted into Roman’s one on one training program. In just 4 months, I dropped from 185 lbs of flab at 23% bf to 160 lbs of muscle with 8.8% body fat. At 61 Years Old, John Lost 37+ Pounds of Fat and Can See His Abs For the First Time EVER!

As a 61 year old guy—who was out of shape and heavy, and who had never done resistance training in his life—it’s incredible to me that over the course of my time in the coaching program, Roman transformed me into someone who is constantly complimented in the gym and in public for the shape that he’s in!

I went from 187 pounds at 5’7” tall and about 27% body fat to where I am now: 150 pounds and about 12% body fat. Those numbers sound clinical and don’t really describe what actually happened to my body. I didn’t just lose fat; I gained muscle everywhere, and now even sport a six-pack! 

When the opportunity to work directly with Roman and have him design a personal plan for me arose, I jumped at the chance. I knew having someone with that level of experience and knowledge coach me would take me to the next level—and it did. 

Anyone who’s not only looking for fitness but who wants to change their life and take Campbell’s metaphoric Hero’s Journey (aptly references in the book), should pretty much beg to train with John Romaniello. I mean that. 

As soon as I started the program, everything began to change. My attitude became more positive, I was in better spirits and I was infinitely more healthy, with less weight and more strength. I wanted more! 

During my time in the Coaching Program, I built a foundation that literally added years to my life! It was challenging and produced results beyond what I would have ever expected. I now squat and deadlift twice my body weight and I’m benching about 280. That’s astounding when you realize I started those exercises at less than 100 lbs each! 

Not only did I become muscular and lean but other things changed as well. I had large increases in both testosterone and growth hormone levels with the associated benefits of each. Before I started, I had high cholesterol and was borderline diabetic—now, I’m off statins and my blood work and physique look like I’m 31 instead of 61!

Because of Roman, instead of getting older, I’ll be celebrating my next birthday by being younger next year.

Caroline Lost Over 8% Body Fat and Gained Lean, Dense Muscle

I am very, very happy with my progress on the program so far! In just the first 4 months, I’ve lost over 12 pounds of pure body fat and gained about 4 pounds of LBM. My body feels so much better, and I’ve never felt so good about my body.

Claudio Lost Nearly 50 Pounds, Gained Strength, and Completely Changed His Life!

As an 80’s kid, my interest in working out began the first time I saw Arnold Schwarzenegger (or maybe it was a Rocky training montage); that’s generally as far as it went, though: an interest, and a mostly passing one at that.

Trapped in the body of a chubby kid my entire childhood, I suffered the usual embarrassments of taking my shirt off at the beach in the summer, ill-fitting clothes, and the general malaise of a bruised self-esteem. After turning 30, I said “no more!”  

Having gone from a chubby kid to a borderline-obese adult, I knew I’d have my work cut out for me. After looking around the internet for a specific way to achieve my goals, I stumbled upon one John Romaniello: a kindred spirit who understood what it was like to look in the mirror and know “I’m better than this!”

Signing up for Roman’s online coaching program provided me with all the tools and encouragement necessary to transform, both inside and out. Knowing that I had someone in my corner every step of the way was crucial in getting the results I wanted. Any time I had a question or concern, Roman was there with a speedy, insightful, helpful reply.

Having had a bit of training experience in the past I thought I already knew a lot and that I just needed some accountability. Turns out, I was wrong. Roman, with his extensive knowledge in the areas of diet and exercise, would consistently blow me away every month with his programs.  

Following his recommendations allowed me to lose almost 20lbs of fat within the first 6 weeks. I had already accomplished my initial goal, and we still had five months left!

Rather than just focusing on fat loss, he helped me correct some postural issues I’d unknowingly been dealing with for years. My experience with Roman as a coach, a mentor, and a bro has been so positive that I’ve referred two friends to seek his guidance in achieving their fitness goals.

The great thing about the way Roman structures programming is that it really allows for insane results in minimal time. In just a few weeks you can shed fat and get ready for summer or a big event, or you can take it a bit slower and completely change every aspect of your body.

Nikola Went from "Good" to GREAT, Losing 9+ Pounds of Fat and Winning a Transformation Contest!

I had been keeping Roman’s fat loss program on hand for quite some time, waiting for the exact right moment to try it. Then, I went on a mass gaining program, and as expected, I definitely put on size, but also gained a bit of fat.

Just like that, I knew it was time to bust out the Roman Secret Sauce and get to work.

When I started I was 183 lbs and about 13% body fat. Just 6 weeks later, I was coming in at 175lbs and 7.5%!  I can’t tell you how awesome this is – I lost 9 pounds of all fat. I’ve never been this lean. I’m in the best shape of my life; my abs have never been so visible.

The crazy thing is, I didn’t lose any muscle! I actually gained a pound of LBM. I never thought I’d be able to be this lean and have this much mass. It’s awesome.

When I read Engineering the Alpha, I was at the lowest point in my entire life prior to reading it: I was fat (almost 30% bodyfat), unhealthy (high Blood Pressure and cholesterol), a drunk, and a general overall mess.

6 weeks ago I put one of my clients, Brendan, on your 6 week Final Phase Fat Loss program in the hopes of getting him leaner.  Over the course of the previous year working with him, we have built a great foundation of strength (deadlift and squat both up over 50 pounds) and also rehabbed a bad back (L5/S1 injury).  So when it came time to get lean, I turned to your program.  As you can tell from the pictures, he killed the program!

Before I started training with Roman I had a vague (at best) sense of where I was going, training-wise. I grew up overweight and have never really been able to describe myself as “lean,” and have definitely never been considered “ripped.” .

Training with John was an ever-evolving experience. At the beginning, I looked at it from a more traditional point-of- view. By that I mean that I viewed John as merely my coach and myself as just another client. Almost immediately I realized that he didn’t look at me as “just another client.” To John I was Tony and he was going to do all he could to help me get what I wanted. That alone helped me substantially.

I was astonished at how humbling his programming was for me. Here I thought I had really been doing work in the gym – ha! The joke was on me there. John showed me what it really meant to work, but the help didn’t stop in the gym. His nutritional advice was spot-on and produced great results when I followed it. 

As I assume happens with a lot of his clients, I also brought some of life’s problems into the coaching experience with me. John didn’t shy from those issues – he had plenty of encouraging and helpful words for me when I needed them most. As we progressed with the coaching, he’d answer my questions, but also follow up and ask about my life. Partially it was because the information helped him refine my program, but part was because he actually cared.  All of that just trickled back down into the awesomeness of the training experience.

To make a long story short, if you want to take a step towards bettering your health and looking good, give enroll in his online coaching and you won’t be disappointed.

In the past six months I have done more than I ever thought I could (both inside and outside of the gym), made strides toward my goal physique, coped with and confronted things and made a new friend to boot.
